STEP Cayman ‘First STEP’ Scholarship
| The STEP Cayman Islands Council is proud to announce the creation of a scholarship programme, known as “First Step”, designed to facilitate an introduction for interested and eligible candidates to the trusts industry in the Cayman Islands. The scholarship will consist of full funding for the globally recognized STEP Entry Level Certificate programme administered by CLT International London, and will consist of a series of online lessons in the area of trusts and trust administration, concluding with a formal examination. The certificate is the first “step” towards obtaining a full Trust and Estate Practitioner (‘TEP’) designation, which is the gold standard within the global trusts industry. Eligible candidates must either be a Caymanian, status holder, or permanent resident of the Cayman Islands. It is anticipated that three full scholarships will be provided on an annual rotating basis. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 ‘O levels’ and 3 ‘A levels’ (or equivalent) and a passing grade including in math and English. Alternatively, candidates must have completed secondary school. Educational qualifications outside of these requirements will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Interested candidates should email firststepcayman@gmail.com and request an application form.
